Pirates Lane Video has just finished working with the Boston area band 27 North on a music video for a song called "Twilight".  Although the song is a vampire themed blues song it is not directly related to or even likely inspired by the book/movie of the same name.

Footage of the band was shot in their basement rehearsal space.  The shots of the band were edited in with computer animated sequences set in a foggy graveyard under a full moon.  Effects were then generated to blur the line between the "live" footage of the band and the CGI footage.  Drifting fog was layered in with the shots of the band and some of the shots were altered to look like animations.  All of the animations and effects were done in-house by videographer Jim Merchant.
